How email archiving works
Every user signed up for email archiving will require a simple mail client reconfiguration before the new email store can be accessed. Once changes have been made, it’s business as usual with the same email interface you know and love.
The email archive administrator console provides complete functionality access, including eDiscovery and organisation-wide searches, granular email retention policy setting, user management and litigation hold requests.
It can also be used to import old .pst email archives, making all historical emails accessible instantly – no more slow or stuffy mail clients.
Email archiving is secure
All emails are stored on secure tamper-proof servers, and encoded with industry-leading AES encryption. They’re also backed up regularly and stored on two geographically different locations (just in case of natural disasters or accidental deletions – you never know).
